Lazybrook Civic Club
The next meeting of the Lazybrook Garden Club is Tues. Nov. 11. at Ilya Martinalbo’s home.
The Nov. “program” will include a tour of Ilya’s yard (hopefully before nightfall) which is very interesting! As usual, BYOB and/or a snack of some kind. Door opens at 6:30pm, showtime at 6:45pm.
FYI: This is a VERY casual & FUN gathering of folks who like to garden & talk of garden things whether their thumbs are green or black. We meet at 6:30pm on the 2nd Tues. of each month (Sept. – May, except Dec.) at different homes. No skill judgments or long, dry lectures are made in this group & no dues are collected! Sometimes there is a short program, sometimes not. Wine, snacks & laughter are always involved.
If you have any plants, bulbs, bricks, rocks, tools, etc. to share, please do so! Even if you can’t attend you can let me know & I’ll spread the word. Also, future topics for discussion are welcome.

Block Captains: if you haven’t already started, please be preparing for a block party on that evening. This is a BIG DEAL, folks, and you don’t even have to clean your house for company!! If you can’t host one, please locate someone (or several) on your block to generate some interest and excitement for a block party. You might even want to combine two blocks for a party! It can be as fancy or as simple as you want to make it. Make this time together memorable and make it count! Eddie Yarbrough, Block Captain Chair, will be contacting you soon with reminders and suggestions.
