What is the Neighborhood Constable Patrol Program (CPP)?
The Neighborhood Constable Patrol Program (CPP) is a concierge security service provided by Harris County Constable Precinct 1 that is available to a community though its neighborhood association (NA) and provides residents with a uniformed presence dedicated to a geo-mapped neighborhood to address suspicious behavior and help deter crime. Constables work in tandem with NA citizen patrol groups and have legal jurisdiction to confront, ticket and arrest.
Subscribers fund the cost of the CPP on an 80/20 basis, with Harris County paying the other 20%.
