Heights Kids Day of Music
The Heights Kids’ Day of Music is all about bringing local music to our Heights community families. 100% Local Music. 100% Fun. Activities include a main stage with performances by local bands every 40 minutes; a secondary stage will showcase local businesses and non-profits that bring music to our community; and an instrument “petting zoo” where kids can get an up-close look at band and orchestra instruments, as well as meet opera singers.http://www.heightskidsdayofmusic.com
Note, our event is the same day as the TMNA Fun Run, so I encourage families to come by after their morning run to enjoy some music, food and activities and round out a great Saturday in the neighborhood. Our plan is to showcase one area school every year, and for this first year we are showcasing Love Elementary which is turning a new leaf similarly to how Sinclair has in recent years. This is also the school the “Timbergrove East” residents are zoned to attend.
