National Night Out – October 3, 2017

When: Tuesday, October 3, 2017

NNO is an excellent opportunity to meet, greet, and eat with your immediate neighbors. In the event of an emergency, break-in, or suspicious activity it makes good sense to know your neighbors enough to be on the alert or be available to help.

NNO is designed to:

  • heighten crime prevention awareness,
  • generate support for, and participation in, local anticrime programs,
  • strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships, and
  • send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

Please talk to your block captain and neighbors to plan a social get together for your block. Each block is encouraged to come together, it can be as simple as volunteering your driveway for people to meet at or some blocks like to join together and bring food and drinks, the important thing is that we take the time to meet our new neighbors and continue to build on friendships from the past. Lazybrook will prosper when each of us take the time build a relationship with our neighbors and take pride in where we live.
