Cypress Creek Pest Control will spray MasterLine Kontrol 30-30 concentrate for mosquitos, gnats and flies, EPA Reg No: 73748-5, weekly from April through October on Thursdays or the next available day if there is bad weather. They use vehicles equipped with ultra low volume fog generators. Time of spraying is after 10:00 PM but is not guaranteed. If you are concerned about the mosquito spraying, plan to complete all outdoor activities by 9:00 PM.

Lazybrook Easter Egg Hunt – March 29
The Moms of Lazybrook have organized a Lazybrook Easter Egg Hunt and we would love to see and meet many of our neighbors of Lazybrook. It is this Sunday, March 29th at 3:30 pm.
Please go around to the gate near the ball field on the Manville side of the school. There is a small parking lot that will be available for parking as well as parking along the street.
We will try to start the hunt as close to 3:30 as possible.
If you signed up to bring Easter eggs you can bring them the day of the hunt or drop them off with me or Melissa Cougle beforehand. MCougle@enscopic.com
If anyone wants to come early to help hide eggs please feel free to come help : )

Lazybrook Gardening Club Meeting – March 17th
The next meeting of the Lazybrook Garden Club is March 17th. at Eddie Yarbrough’s home.
Nancy Greig, Director of the Cockrell Butterfly Center at the Houston Museum of Natural Science and former Board Member of the Houston Arboretum. Ms. Greig will be sharing a butterfly presentation and upcoming information about a plant sale to benefit the Butterfly Center.
FYI: These are loosely structured gatherings where no judgments are passed about your gardening or lawn skills and no dues required. You can ask questions or share observations with folks of a like mind! Water and iced tea will be provided but you’re welcome to bring a snack and/or libation of your preference to share.
So…..if you want to turn your black thumb to green, are curious about what plants do well in our area or simply yearning to yak about gardening things in general, please join us.
