Cat mutilations in the Heights continue to disturb residents

Just this past weekend a husband and wife in the Timbergrove area close to Jaycee Park woke up early Saturday morning to find their own cat lying dead and in pieces on their lawn. They had last seen the pet hours before. They believe that sometime between 3 a.m. and sunrise their pet was taken off and mutilated.

Beautification update

Trees for Houston has received a donation for planting trees on 18th Street from Seamist to 610.

National Night Out – October 7

Neighbors Night Out (NNO) is on the horizon. Tuesday, October 7, 2014
(Others may call it National Night Out but we know it is all about the Neighbors.)

NNO is an excellent opportunity to meet, greet, and eat with your immediate neighbors. In the event of an emergency, break-in, or suspicious activity it makes good sense to know your neighbors enough to be on the alert or be available to help.

Fall Fitness

It’s hard to believe that my fitness studio, To Fit You, has been open for three months. It has been amazing and great fun to meet new people, challenge my self to grow my business and, last but not least, walk to work. My old clients love the studio and new clients really like the location and what we have to offer them to get healthy and fit.
