Recycling Update

All I can tell you is that we all want rain!!!!  Unfortunately, that is not in our job description but, the best thing we can do is conserve water.  I’m sure that you have all been trying to do just that. My favorites are:
  • Compost instead of using the garbage disposal (tip – don’t put meat products in your compost)
  • When running water to change the temperature -run it into a pitcher or jug and water your plants
  • Wash fruits and vegetables in a pan instead of running the tap – then use the water to water plants
  • Shorten your shower by a minute or 2 and save up to 150 gallons per month.
There are so many ways for us to save water – my husband and I went over to the water main break near us and collected water for our lawn.  Do what you can!!! And please remember to:
